To Be Live Or Not To Be Live, That Is The Question
When the pandemic happened in 2020, the school we meet at was immediately closed down. Like many churches, we recorded our services in a studio, edited them, and played them at our regularly scheduled time on Sunday. It was a strange time for our family watching a prerecorded service but it was better than having no service at all.
When things began to open up we decided to live stream our services. Many people were not comfortable coming to church so having a live service was a real blessing to those choosing to stay home. We continued to live stream our services until last week.
Unfortunately, we kept running into technical issues, which was not a pleasant experience for our viewers. Maki, our admin and recording expert (in my opinion), has done a fantastic job of keeping our services online the last few years.
In light of all the technical issues we will no longer be live streaming our services. However, we will still be recording the services live. Our service start at 10 a.m. and is usually done by 11:15. The recorded service should be ready to view by noon so we are only talking about a delay of 2 hours at most.
Please make note of the change. The good news is that you should be able to watch well-produced services free of technical difficulties from this point forward.
Thanks so much for choosing to watch our services all these years and please share our services with your friends and family.
Love and blessings,
Steve
