I Made A Mistake
I know some of you are going to find this hard to believe, but sometimes I make mistakes. Okay, you can stop laughing now!
Last Sunday I made a mistake in my message, so I want to make sure I correct it. I made reference to a guy who does man-on-the-street interviews around the country about faith. I said the young man's name was Jordan Matthew Young.
After the service a good friend of mine did a YouTube search to find Jordan Matthew Young, and all she came up with was a bluegrass artist with that name. I took a good look at the bluegrass artist, and it definitely wasn't the same person doing the man-on-the-street interviews.
I did a search to see if I could find the right person. I eventually found him by asking YouTube for man-on-the-street interviews about faith. Interestingly enough, his name was not to be found on the YouTube channel he’s on. A guy that helps him do the interviews called him Ethan, so I guess that's his name.
Ethan is probably in his early twenties. He’s kind of goofy, but does a really good job of interviewing people. If you can find him, I think you will enjoy seeing the places he goes to and the people he interviews. He’s very kind and funny, and not afraid to talk to anyone.
If you are wondering where this is all coming from, go back to my message last Sunday called, “Who Is Jesus to You.” You can find it in our sermon archives on YouTube, or you can listen to it on a podcast. It’s based on Mark 8:27–38.
That’s all I have for this week. I might have mistakenly turned some of our PLC people into bluegrass fans. Maybe one day Jordan Matthew Young will thank me.
Stay close to Jesus,
Steve
