Here you will find info on various outreach ministries. Providing for those in need has always been a "prime directive" of the Chrisitan Faith. I was taught by my precious Grandmother, who was my spiritual mentor and guide to help all those who need help. She never turned anyone away if they needed a meal and when she had it, she would give her last dime to someone who needed it more than her, believing by faith that God would providefor her needs.
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.- The words of Jesus, From the Gospel Of Matthew
If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?—James 2:15-16
